When I was in 5th grade we had an assignment to write a story about a character in a popular book .‘Rookie Mistake’ feels like the adult gay version of that assignment . ... “hmmm how do I make sure there people reading this know how rich my character is? I know! I’ll describe his car and house in great detail. I know it’s not relevant to the story but he has to live in a house with a lot of staircases”The author spends a whole paragraph describing Logan’s hair color and two sentences on when he comes out to his parents. The conversations between characters are reminiscent of the acting in porn- the words are familiar but the context is offThe MC’s spend 4+ years living on the same property, going to the same school and have NEVER spoken? They are both virgins And within 36 hours are confessing this to each other and *poof* both are all IN?I am very disappointed because I LOVED the authors book “Stripped Love”And this IS the nice version of my review
